credit goes to diane from the wsta for showing me they could hold beaver....

Well, I will 'openly' admit , (having been in Washington twice) , you have proven to me you can catch and hold animals in a Havahart (brand name) trap.
I won't use one though. I consider them the bottom end of cage traps.
Set one next to a Comstock trap, just once.
If nothing else, they are opposed to fur trapping, which I spent 50 years of my life, being.
So...they get none of my money. None !
I've seen big 'coon blow the doors out of them and escape.
That said, you are Poster Child of : Good trappers can do more with less !
Keep on trapping, regardless of the style or brand of trap you choose !
