I cage trap or exclude all of our squirrel work. Not sure of your circumstance there but they usually aren't too difficult to trap in most cases if you get on their daily travel ways.

We have best luck with swing panels. Ouells are good too. Rat snaps are hit or miss. I've watched them get caught by them, then pull themselves out.

This is my squirrel squasher. Counter sink a 1.5 in the 2x4, use some support wire to hold your bait. I like a big marshmallow with peanut butter and sunflower seeds. Some times it dispatches em but usually they’re hanging there waiting for you.

I’ve caught grays in dogproofs with corn. Gotta imagine it’d work on reds too.

Careful the customer doesn't have an anti trapping neighbor. That can bring lots of headache.
