clean or not - cage/tube after non-target catch

clean or not - cage/tube after non-target catch - 01/21/23 07:39 PM

I'm targeting skunk and caught a possum. In the past I have diligently cleaned out my cages/tubes because in my opinion, possum smell rank. Do y'all think skunks really care or am I wasting my time?

Thanks, Wally

I just dump out any feces in trap and then reset. I do rinse them out once in a while during a down period.

I always figured any scent would be a draw, unless extremely scuzzy , just reset.

Thanks fellows. Possum have to be one of the worst smelling critters.

I have one of those electronic mailbox skunk cages. Possum got caught and fouled it up so bad I still haven't been able to get the smell out.

Possums have a unique stink to be sure!
