transporting a 10 pound CO2 tank in truck bed - 08/30/23 12:35 PM

I'm taking delivery of a new to me truck next week. I'm concerned about transporting my CO2 tank to various sites for euthanization. Anyone with suggestions on the best method for securing it in the bed of my truck? Also, if it is in the sun for several hours as I go from site to site, what should my concerns be?

Thanks

I would contact your CO2 supplier for their recommendations and advice to address your concerns. There should be commercial mounting systems to fit your application.

I just put mine on the passenger seat floor and secured it so it would move around. Leaned it against the seat front. I didn't have very far to drive though, just a couple miles.

I set the propane tank inside a mild crate, fit's perfect and keeps it from falling over so easily. Then ratchet straps through top handle and down to the U bolts in the truck bed.
