ampalaya for health

heres what I eat alot of for my diabetes and weight-bitter melon.
I aquired a taste for it,,took about 4 months.

bottom is chinese variety I grew,,top dark green is india variety i bought.

neighbor just dropped his aic from 8 to 7.5 in 30 days eating ampalaya all things the same. His pancreas was destroyed in a car crash in 1995,,but now his doc says it seems to be regenerating. We have been growing it all year. Picked about 30 pounds today.

what is aic ?

Can that stuff be bought in the States or is it only in the Philipines?
