Radon - 01/06/22 06:22 AM
It's National Radon Month. It is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer. I got my house tested and it proved I needed a radon mitigation system. I had it installed 10 yrs ago & it's worked flawlessly ever since. I'm amazed at how many people I've talked to that are unwilling to get their home tested

I figured you must be in WI. Tested both the houses we lived in and both were high. Fix is easy and not too expensive. Worth the time and money

Yes.
The fix was easy for the guru professional who does it for a living. When he proposed his solution, I thought it sounded strange, but it sure works great (which is part of the reason why I don't understand why so many are reluctant to have their home tested). It costs ~$5 a month in electricity to run the system, but it's worth it and is incredibly low maintenance.

We got one installed when we bought the house, well above safe levels before. It was worth it.
