I just got a nice road kill skunk this am and lucky me the pods were full!. I'm looking to know if I can freeze the meat till I find a good bait recipe for the skunk meat. I have the meat and fat all in a quart jar now . Or if anyone has a bait recipe for skunk that would be great too.

I would separate the fat from the meat. And rot them both down. You'll have 2base ingredients that are really good. Or taint the meat and render the fat down to make skunk oil. I like rotten skunk meat and skunk oil as lure bases. Tainted skunk meat is pretty good on my line but beaver and deer are way better. Good luck
