Beaver Sac Oil - 04/19/18 11:36 PM

Hello, last year I saved all my oil sacs with oil in them. I was suprised to see how little I got for them, this year I decided to extract the oil. So my questions are 1. do I freeze the oil, or just keep it in a cool dark place? It might be a while before I sell it. 2. Are the empty sacs worth anything to someone? Should I save them? 3. Why were some of the contents a dark brown/grey and others bright white/yellowish? Thank you in advance!

Yes the empty sacks are of value.

I think oil is as valuable as castor for cat lure. Just make sure on the sacs themselves that you preserve or freeze them or they will rot bad.

Is there a market for oil and empty sacs? If so PM me.

Yes Beav, its easy, just ask all the lure makers if they are buying, and how they want them.

There's over 80 possibilities from the list that was posted here last year. I wish I knew who to thank for compiling it.
