Lanolin

I warm it up and add skunk essence, works great until the temps drop below zero then it is as hard as a brick. Looking for suggestions on thinning lanolin for use in extreme cold weather.

Mineral oil will work better when heated with lanolin but it isn't the best base choice when being exposed to cold temps. Petro gel and types of synthetics grease are near neutral in odor and can both be worked into better delivery materials.
