I'm wanting to try some "slap and go " sets this year. I'm thinking culvert walls. How do I make the bait sticky enough to stick and stay stuck? I'm targeting mink and coon.

Pethro, carried by MTP is the consistency of petroleum jelly. But doesn't glaze over, mixes with lure real well.

I believe you are referring to "Petro gel"

I’ve not tried it but Fish grease seems to be pretty sticky and gooey. Is anyone using it with a fish or crawfish paste ?

Synthetic food grease works pretty good as well

I havnt tried this with bait . When you make meat sticks if you mix your meat for along time to get protein extraction after about 15 minutes or so the meat gets realy realy sticky gooey like peanut butter. You might try taking a paint or drywall mud mixer that mounts on a drill and beat the (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) out of your bait for twenty minutes and see what happens
