It must have been a one-day sale. Went this morning and everything but the Jimmy Dean applewood smoked 12 oz packs were back up to $3.55 per pound. The Jimmy Dean stuff was on sale for $1.99 for 12 oz with a limit of 2 packages per customer. I went to 2 grocery stores and got 4 packages.

Since I’m going to make Lazarus’s bait with it, what I have will be a good start. I’ll just freeze it till I get ready to make bait.

i make the bacon, then eat it. i pour the grease off into a mason jar and keep it on the counter till full. don't take long till its full.the wife likes me making breakfast for her every sunday.

Go to a cheaper discount type grocery store and look for the boxes of ends and pieces. They’re usually the cheapest.
