Dingoes caught on Sony S600's and Jakes - 11/14/13 11:24 AM

Ok,folks-looks like the interwebulator worked and uploaded a few images from some of my dingo trapping adventures
over last couple of week.

The last three images are from special trail cameras called Sony S600 'home brews' you buy a Sony S600 and then a conversion kit,and build the camera yourself-its a very neat piece of kit, colour images are taken at night, these three images show dingoes coming on to a lure, and a dead dingo (its a dog eat dog world out there!).

The first three images show a larger male dingo I caught last week, one of many last week, got a few pups too.I'll post some more images of these trapping episodes and various kit used,if anyone interested.

Thanks for looking

here is one pup caught at same location as larger male dog in above images,I had a regular 'black flash' cam watching this area, there are 6 pups seen 4 weeks ago,I've trapped 4 plus the adult male.Only two pups left to go-I think mum has cleared out-she is very smart!

Hope these images and short update are of interest, thanks for looking.

Dead sheep and dead dingo and on the rock I put some home made lure-bits of everything all chopped up.It crude but effective.

Good work, did you bury the pieces? Birds and ants night be an issue here.We have lots of issues with other critter coming on to food sets-especially now-its very hot and humid here, and huge lace monitors (AKA as goannas)(large lizards same as 'kamodo dragons' a tad smaller),but they come in on offal and dead aniamls.I just had a Reconyx HC 600 on a dead lamb and all I got was 260 images of lace monitors eating it.So would have been a waste off time have traps on it.

enclosed small image from Sony S600 trail cam of a small lace monitor and crows.I many dozens of these lace monitors.

What color combinations are common for a dingo? Only ask because I see the black one, which I never knew were common.

Great pics guys, thank you. I'm always interested to see what people in other places are trapping and how they go about it. What does an average adult dingo weigh? You have some beautiful looking country there, but but from what I've read, just about everything that walks crawls, flies and swims can kill you.LOL

Dt, I can't believe the pics you get with your camera at night. That's awesome.

Neat pics! Don’t be afraid to use your own urine for the hard to catch ones. It’s worked for me

Yep $120 in Victoria, Australia. You have to be a landowner or an employee to claim the bounty

Blue Heeler has considerable dingo genetics in their mix.

So what do you use to send the critters to the happy hunting grounds? Can you use firearms?
