Cedar Siding for Mink Boards?

Cedar Siding for Mink Boards? - 11/13/18 06:35 PM

This past weekend I was given some cedar siding. Of course it's thicker on one side and thinner on the other but I was wondering if this wood would work for mink boards?

If so, how would you go about utilizing it? Plane it uniform and make the form?

I don't know. I guess you could give it a try and see what you think.

Being cedar and beveled, your problem probably will be cracking. Pins will push easy though. Cedar doesn't turn punky like some wood, so you could utilize the siding for muskrats floats or boards maybe
