Birding: Spring Warbler Migration - 05/10/19 02:29 AM

Here are photos of recent 2019 arrivals. I will add different views of these new warbler species in addition to other songbirds.

Hope you can enjoy these images as much as I had pleasure of taking them.

Regards,

Jonathan

Thank you Jonathan, and welcome back. All those, except your last 2, are exotic to us, and I've never seen them. Our Myrtle warblers are just starting to arrive.

Great pictures, Jonathan, thanks for the share!
Should have opened the kitchen curtain a little more slowly this morning because I scared off a very seldom seen visitor from the feeders, a Northern Parula.

It's only a mean looker if you are some hanging reindeer moss in a tamarach swamp and you are going to be weaved into a delicate nest.
Is there some moss hanging around your shoulders Boco ?

NT50, You are correct! It is a Cape May for certain. I should have known that from my past photos, like this one from last May's migration in my yard.

The old collector moto; "a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush." Those photo's are sure show stoppers.
We had a very large swing in the sparrow population last night in migration.
Lots of Harris sparrows amongst the "oh sweet Canada-Canada singers" (White throated sp)
