In my area of NE Texas. I use a personal mix of rat glands, castor, asafoedita & Civet. Actually, I change lures & baits pretty often from set to set. So I have several go to's but that a good one.....

Nd native trapper N Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 838 North dakota	I wont try trapping October coyotes without R&M Mouse special bait. It's not to strong and seems like prairie coyotes and fox really like the mouse smell.

DON B trapper D Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 76 central PA	Night Owl Lures are some of the best I've ever used. Brush Fire and Red XXL are great. Rolling Thunder is great bait. I'm really anxious to use the new rabbit bait. I wish I could find some rabbit urine somewhere as I have an idea I've been wanting to try. Try a bottle of Night Owl Lures and you'll see results. Join a trappers association before you wished you had.

JoeRJr trapper Joined: Dec 2018 Posts: 68 North Carolina	I'm new to trapping, but I've been "camera trapping" for a long while. I still don't claim to be any kind of expert. In my experience, if you want coyotes to visit, nothing comes close to beaver chunks. I'd get pics of dogs I never got before on that particular property. Beaver hide is no slouch either, but most folks have a different use for them. Joe
