Think my current bow was on 77lb last time I checked ,my old elk hunting bow was around the century mark. It seems to get harder to draw every year don't shoot no where the amount of arrows I used to shoot.

We all buy our longbows or recurves when we had plenty of testosterone……and as we age and lose our strength or have shoulder surgery…and wish we had a lighter weight. I know I do.

370. Shoulders went bad. Had surgery on both and still can't pull a bow. I hadn't archery hunted for years and have really missed it. This year I got a permit from the state to use a crossbow. Harvested a little meat buck and I am happy. And while it's not the same, it was fun.
