Sold my 5 year old couple weeks ago.Sold one of my 2 year old litter mate brothers tonight for $1000.Still have two beagles to run rabbits with.My two year old Musket and my year old pup Captain Jack Sparrow.Going to be alot easier catching them up after the hunt plus help free me up for other things like trapping trips to Alaska.

I hope they will have good and loving homes! And lots of fun hunting. Man I’m not sure if I could part with a dog after a time…absolutely no judgment meant at that. I know you train excellent dogs.

Always wanted beagles for rabbit hunting but never got to experience it. I let my well bred fancy lab run rabbits when we're pheasant hunting but ide sure like to try it with a beagle

nothing like hound hunting. I have not had a rabbit dog in 22 years when my female got out at my inlaws house and got ran over running a rabbit. I had just moved into my first house and had not got my pens set up yet so had not brought her home. I'm not home enough to run one now so don't have any hunting dogs just family dogs now.

Trapping Alaska sure sounds like an adventure please keep good notes and take a ton of pictures to keep us posted so we can live vicariously through you. And don't leave out the mishaps.

Running beagles on rabbits is a blast, as long as they are good trash broke dogs. My father in laws dogs have suddenly decided to start running deer. Its not fun chasing them while holding down the continous button down woth the collars set on max. The dog that seems to start the deer run is getting my old bird dogs collar with 16 levels and a mile and a half range. Needless to say she will have a rude awakening next time she decides to run deer.

Know what you mean about catching them when you are done hunting. Had a beagle for 14 yrs. I trained to hunt cottontail when he was a pup. It was either snap a collar and leash on him and start pulling or carry him out. Their was no quit in him. Had alot of good hunts with him when my son was growing up.
