Covers are cheaper than for the coon size cages. Don't need a huge cage for even the largest skunk. Not that skunks won't spray in a small cage, they certainly will/do, but I've had more problems with that in the larger cages. I cover pre-set for skunks, and don't set the larger cages for them if I can help it. But do catch them when coon trapping, so they are more frequently uncovered.

I' have heard here many times that a skunk that cannot raise it's tail, can't spray, Any body else know about this, and so wouldn't a smaller cage prevent tail raising and eliminate/reduce the spray incidents?
