Why buy it at a store with a zillon acres of places to get it IF it will work . Will mix in with my garden dirt .Also got a big horse poop pile .Not worried about weeks .

Peppers prefer loam soil over all others. Loam gathered from the woods would work great, except for the weed seeds in it. If you stay up on pulling the weeds, it will work great for starting peppers.

This.

Or you can make great potting soil in a compost pile/box.
Nothing worth while comes free.

Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

It's June...why are you trying to start peppers now? With your short growing season I don't think they'll make it, even if you succeed..What am I missing?

I agree with you gcs. Maybe season extension with greenhouse coverings?

Well, you guys are right it’s kind of an experiment and I’m gonna put them in the greenhouse and I’ll be more prepared next year. I wouldn’t even bother with it if we didn’t have some extra space in the greenhouse thank you for your advice it frosted here night before last so what does that tell you
