$100 eastern coyote - 01/29/20 03:49 AM

37 lb male. Should grade heavy by western standards. I'm way down on numbers and have caught some bad stuff this year but this is probably the best dog I have caught in a couple of years.

Pretty nice one. Quality is heading down hill here with warm temps and just that time of year now.

60 bucks max THEN if the back side looks good. You are showing the side they don't use much of . Not a bobcat LOL.

I trap Easterns and had a couple that went for $95 each last year, and one a little over $80. Across everything I caught, I averaged $56.57 for the whole pile which I was happy with. I had some very nice coyotes for around here, but when laid next to the ones caught out west, there is absolutely no comparison. The hair on those dogs is softer, denser, and far paler than ANYTHING I catch here. I enjoy the (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) out of them and if I can pull down a $50 average plus this year, I will be happy as a pig in poop. I'll find out in a couple of weeks when I sell them.

My best eastern coyote went for $140 US last year in the May FHA sale. No reason why you wouldn’t get $100 for that coyote. I averaged around $80 US a coyote in that sale
