My cat is done.

Haven't seen it up close yet but he sent me pics today. I'll be picking it up the first part of the week.

I have looked at hundreds of cats in cages and treed with dogs, That is as close to life like as one can do. He is truly an artist. You should be proud to own that piece of work.

I like many other's here have seen a grundle of cats alive and mounted in my many years.

That mount has to be in the top five I can remember even commenting on, that face is unreal in it's naturalness !!
Just awesome face, the rest serves it well but cat mounts are known for the face work and natural appearance
your taxidermist is well worth what ever the cost is for that work, simply awesome !!

Cats are one of the hardest animals to get the face to look right. And that one absolutely nails it.

Yep! After seeing the pictures of it in process, I knew it was going to be great. Price is irrelevant really, as I'm sure many guys that have gotten pisspoor mounts would attest, they would of paid more if it was great.

That's for sure. I paid to have a life size bear mount done at my wife's suggestion. That doesn't happen every day so I went ahead with it. I wished I hadn't after I got the mount back, I've never been satisfied with it and it brings little enjoyment. Though he typically does good work, the taxidermist got it wrong on the bear. It's not the same fellow who did this cat.

There are only a handful of exceptional taxidermists when it comes to cats. It's all about the form baby, all about the form, and the best T's know to create their own forms or pay to use the custom built forms in their industry.

That is a wonderful mount for sure.

Ok I'm a taxidermist and have been one for 25 years there are three things I won't to point out. Wow,wow and wow! The one thing that makes a big difference in getting a mount like that is getting a good cat and trappers typically bring the best animal's. This taxidermist did a awesome job in every aspect of the mount.

I will have to swing by when you get your bobcat mount home.

Looks great. I always wanted to get one mounted but the taxidermist in my area do a poor job on cats. If I get another I’ll have to get your taxidermists number.
