They will make up for it by adding cost to the traps and shipping other things that actually costs less than they charge to ship it. That is how about all businesses do it these days. Hardly anyone charges exact shipping.
Look on the other side, example 3 oz and cost $9.99. Watch the postage on small items.
I know I ain't complainin. Most of my orders are big and I enjoy the shipping. Fast too.

So Ethan, did you submit the order?

You know up at F&T some picker pulled 100 boxes of traps off a shelf and has them waiting for you to complete your order.
I would about guarantee if you submitted an order for 100 dozen traps they would call you to discuss shipping details and arrangements and a possible volume discount. They would contact you I’m sure as opposed to ship 100 boxes for $20

I wish if i had that much to spend on trap id buy coyte and fox traps like mb 550s and some used #2 longs
I guess that's how walmart shipped me nearly 50 pounds of potting mix for only 5.99.

I doubt they would even process that order without a verbal confirmation !
Sometimes it pays to not assume what you see on the net is actually what it is !
