Santa will always come to our house. That's unless we're on the naughty list. blush

I still give my older kids gifts from Santa. I have one that still believes (he's 8) and I am very grateful for that.

I also give gifts from our Dog--mostly to antagonize my wife. They have a complicated relationship.

No, never had santa. If your children find out you lied about santa, will they believe you about Jesus.

My wife always wraps a present from Santa for our adult son. Usually it's underwear or socks.

He was about 10 or 11 when he stated he didn't believe anymore. I told him when you stop believing you get underwear. So thus the tradition started. Every once in awhile she switches up on him and gets him a bigger gift from Santa. He plays right along and gets all excited. Well except last year when I put a couple bricks in a box, wrapped each individual piece of underwear, put all that in an even larger series of wrapped boxes, and set it on the front porch for him.

I have a feeling my present from him this year is going to be deer poop.

If you let them believe in Jesus then why not Santa. They both have a fairytale story that requires blind faith to believe.

Encourage them when they're young .
Let them believe in what they want .
Guide them but don't destroy what they believe .
Let them learn on their own .
But watch them , and guide them when needed .
Don't tell them what to believe or disbelieve , let them learn on their own .
Now when they become teenagers all bets are off !

We do, Santa and Christ are always a part of our Christmas. Personally felt that if my faith and what I taught my children couldn't withstand Santa my faith was not very strong.

To this day I’ve never had a conversation about Santa being real or not with my parents. I’m almost 40. The older of my 5 kids don’t believe but still we don’t acknowledge whether or not he’s real. My 10 year old is on the verge of not believing. It’s kind of a sad thing to see the magic that is lost when your kids stop believing. Therefore I refuse to acknowledge it. I still write “From Santa” on a few presents. Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy your day.

Someone should put out a Missing Persons Report on Trapstick Man since he has not given his master any Christmas presents
Someone please

Absolutely. And my boys DO believe in Jesus. They were raised with enough brains to apply context and even joy to the appropriate situation.

Not to worry. He and I made an agreement not to exchange gifts since we both have spoiled ourselves rotten. It's gotten so bad that I can't even think of anything else to get myself any more. He still passes out gifts to others though on Christmas.
