Nice cat. Stretched a bit too wide in my opinion.

Wonder what the top cat will be at Fallon. By the time the Klamath sale gets here, those top cats will be super nuts!!!

There is always a bidding war, when Kortum takes an interest in a cat others may be jabbering about.

Don't matter what it looks like, he just likes the advertisement, it always goes a long way's

Think it's wide as well, looks like a forced stretch to me, but he bought it not me LOL

People just need to understand that cat does not represent the auction averages on cats !

Nice cat I would agree too wide and the belly stopped at the neck,as for the coyote 2 year's ago that would have been a $160 to $180 yote.Thank's for sharing the pic.

George is a shrewd man. He knows what he is doing. He is in business to make money and at the same time has helped keep us all in business in low years. I would guess he has bought well over half of the fur I have sold in my 50 years or so of producing it. Have heard stories about him that were negative but from my stand point, I will say thanks George.

George (daisy dukes) kortum is legit, I loved me some Ray Driscoll. He was a fur buying stud!!!

For the record, I'm not knocking Kortum any, I've been around when he is buying as well as when he is playing !

He is a good buyer and does fine things for the industry, no doubts their.

It's not any secrecy there is always a bidding challenge on a nice cat at most of the western auctions and it's always the
same players, it's almost like they take turns each year to see who wins !

Ray Driscoll was a great guy. He was the buyer of my highest priced cats I ever sold. Had two on the table side by side.(plus others ) $1627.27 each. I said "thanks Ray." He said, "oh no, thank you for bringing them in". The year was 2013. RIP Ray.

Just looked up the paper work to make sure my memory was correct. Yup, correct. Ray and George were working as a team that sale.

Pretty good argument for selling your best cats at an auction!
