What's on your pizza?

I like lots of toppings, pepperoni, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, salami, onions, mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan chees and green peppers.

Everything except pineapple.

Sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and lots of mozzarella cheese on top of the toppings except like to put the pepperoni on top of the cheese so it gets crisped up some, thin crispy crust. We're making home made pizza for supper tonight. My wife is having Canadian bacon and Bavarian sauerkraut on hers. I'll have a slice of it too. I like green peppers but they over-power the other flavors on a pizza to me so I leave them off, same for black olives, love them, just not on pizza.

Pepperoni is good enough for me if it comes from OIP.

Store bought ones I like the Supremes that have all that stuff.

But my favorite that I haven't had in more than 20 years:

I lived in the NYC area for about 10 years after high school. "macaroni" pizza is thing up there that I haven't found here. It's pizza with a very thick layer of penne or rigatoni pasta in a meat sauce with lots of melted mozzarella and ricotta cheese. It's basically a 1" thick layer of baked ziti on a pizza crust. One slice is a meal. Delicious.

Ham and pineapple, supreme, deep dish, thin crust, loaded with toppings, cheese only, it really doesn’t matter, I like it all. I haven’t had anchovies though. I may or may not like that.


Pickled banana pepper rings or pepperoncini peppers are needed after cooking.

Ok - regular crust, extra sauce, double mushrooms, green peppers, and a regular quantity of mozzarella cheese - no extra.
Wife and I have strongly agreed on this exact same way for 40some years.

Preferred choice thin crispy crust , lite sauce, all meat, add onions and extra cheese well done. wood fired pickled jalapenos on the side

I will eat a combo at times and pineapple I can take or leave. There is a place here that does have a good deep dish that we order once in a while.

One of my favorites is thin crust, lite sauce, double pepperoni with extra cheese. Then add slices of fresh tomato , dash of tabasco and parmesan cheese as you eat it.

Ever been to Pizza Rev? Its like a subway for pizza because u just point at anything you want and then into the giant oven it goes. Pretty good stuff id recommend it.

OIP is the best I've ever ate followed by marcello's or whatever their name is that's up here by the 4 lane. OIP hoagies can't be beat either, love the bread they make.

A good slice of tomato... spinache...and feta..hits the spot. Most time just plain cheese

You realize some of you don't have meat on your pizza? What do you do, use it as a side dish for your steak?

the kids love pizza , this has probably been laminated to the inside of the cupboard door for 12 year since

ignore step 3 , it goes right onto an oiled cast iron pizza pan and spread out , let rest a bit then pressed out and baked 10 minutes then topped and cooked 10 more

my oldest started making this about age 10 that is why my wife laminated it to the inside of the cupboard door thick , thin , deep dish , you can make it any way you like based on how you spread it or the pan you put it in , thick or deep dish bake longer

Most all the toppings mentioned above. Except that greasy pepperoni. UHG..... just chunks of beef or Italian sausage , Canadian bacon, onion, black olive, shrooms, green peppah , even pineapple....lots of sauce .

And there is nevah enough tomato sauce for me !

1 Jar of Raos Home Made Pizza Sauce
1 Small can of Mushrooms
Then covered with "Thick Cut Pepperoni
One half pound Mozzarella Cheese

Sometimes I use Italian Sausage instead of the Pepperoni and add Banana Peppers.

This is my favorite. I'll take pepperoni's too, but I'm good with this pizza.

Hold the green peppers, mushrooms, olives and fish

Whatever the guy or gal in the kitchen at Casey's put on it.

Chili hotdogs and onions and cheese

Thin crust, sausage, cheese, mushrooms and onions.

My favorite is original crust, double cheese, and just pepperoni. I like pepperoni and sausage okay too. Definitely NO veggies of any sort. I'll eat it with pretty much any meats though.

I always thought pineapple on pizza was nasty, but I tried it and it's not bad. Not my first choice, but I'll eat it if the meat is ham or canadian bacon... any other meats with pineapple would be weird, lol.

I also like chicken pizzas.... buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, chicken alfredo, etc.

Pineapple is good when Canadian bacon and jalapeños are added.

We stick with these four items. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, Black Olives, and Nushrooms

There's a local place here that makes the best steak pizza. It has a white alfredo type sauce instead of tomato then they pile on the chipped steak, cheese, onions, & peppers.

I don't dislike pepperoni but it sure doesn't like me... I prefer to taste my food just once. I don't get that option with pepperoni.

Has to be a bit well done for me. Not so much the crust but the toppings.

Chicken bacon ranch pizza with a touch of onion....ranch sauce instead of mater based. Gadzukes, it is good!

Hard to beat a straight up pepperoni pizza

But when I kick it up a notch , it's pepperoni , sausage , fresh mushrooms , fresh jalapenos , extra cheese , and lots of black pepper

We have a local place that makes a fisherman’s pizza. It is fantastic.

You may be on to a great idea.

Blue crabs would be awesome and represent them well. I prefer lump over claw meat, but I’ll gladly take both.


So 4 coast pizza would be jalapeño, Canadian bacon, blue crabs, and pineapple plus cheese and sauce, of course. Just to be clear, because I think we’re talking about a new style...?

Anyone for hot peppers and black olives?

The NEVER list: pepperoni, hot peppers, jalapeño peppers, bacon, black or green olives or anchovies.

Real Canadian bacon, extra sauce, and extra pineapple with normal (no extra) cheese is very good.

I am curious about sauerkraut.

Shrimp and mushrooms on thin crust. That, under the sauce and cheese that I believe are a part of the definition of pizza.

No peppers, pineapple or fish bait. Pile on most the rest

I won't touch a pizza if it has veggies on it, not a one.

Has to be deep dish and most meats, but at least pepperoni, sausage, and has to have pineapple !!

I usually agree with ole Willy, but I have to question the never list. Never Pepperoni? Hot peppers? No extra cheese?

I never understood why people smear some tomato sauce on a cracker thin crust and slap a thin piece of cheese on it and call it pizza. Put some meat and cheese on it.

Those attending the NTA convention this year will have a chance to have the pizza we ate tonight. It is right across the road from the fairgrounds. Beer barrel pizza. Really good and awesome wings.

Bought crust with homemade white sauce, partially sautéed fresh morels, bacon and pepperoni or pork sausage topped with shredded Asiago cheese is my favorite

1 little piece of pepper will ruin a pizza. The whole thing will taste like peppers.

Sweet hot Italian sausage, burger, cheese, onion, and mushrooms. Chicken and bacon with spinach is pretty good too.

That would go great with some freshly harvested deep fried wild turkey boneless "wings", think I'll have to give it a try this spring.
