I'm sorry if this is a real deal, but having seen this a bit more close up before, it's not uncommon for people having followed or found a weak person case to present and steal info for a while and build a sorry story for free dollars !!

Didnt you have a career in Law Enforcement?If so,,no pension from that?Also,I find it hard for a retired LEO to fall for a scam like this.I may be way off base ,but something dont jive to me.

I would have thought the same thing a year ago ... but my whole world and thinking changed after I had covid so bad for several weeks and was by myself the whole time. I kept asking questions that I knew the answers to, and always got the right answers. I have changed in so many ways many and physically since i had that crap... I think the high fever burned out my brains. after trapping for 78 years, I didn't have the desire or to make the effort, to trap this year. I got very old in in a little bit of time.

No on the retirement I lacked 7 months of the 10 years I needed and by the time I found out about it. the cost to buy the extra time wasn't worth it to me. I was with county, state and federal and they all didn't work of the same platform ... don't remember exactly what it was now that was 20 some years ago.

But if any of you desire to help me I am thankful, and if not well thank any how...

A fellow trapper comes on here and asks for help, and in return gets questioned about not only his sincerity, but also his grammar skills. He's already explained it is legit and posted a picture of him and Paul. Either take him for his word or shut the front door. All of us have been scammed, but this seems sincere to me. I'll be donating. Godspeed to you Garry, not all of us were born into loving homes and have individuals to care for us when in need. God be with you in this time of need. Chancey

It definitely is Garry/Actor. He was not hacked. I just talked to him on the phone.

I was able to help him get a new heater, fixed gas lines, better insulation and assistance with his utility bills back in November of 2022. I'm going to try to find him some help with housing.

Garry has to be out of his house on 4/18/2025.

Garry is 84 and has lost most of his family and friends due to age related mortality.

Dang, was really hoping that was not the case. The scum that prey on the elderly should be dealt with extreme prejudice. My Mother in law has had several attempts to defraud her. Luckily she still has her mind and ask my wife for advice

I found the housing assistance contact information for Licking County, Ohio and passed it onto Garry. We talked again. Garry is going to go to the office on Monday, to see what they can help him with in person.

There was a man around here that lived in the woods in a tent for a long time… when he got older he was able to get assistance in town on a place

Ha HA! I didn't have a weight problem I only weighed 128 pounds ... I broke 3 vertebrae and fractured another bone near my tail bone, when I was a kid. I tried to enlist in 1963 and they wouldn't take me then either. When I went into Law Enforcement they gave you a physical and PT test but no x-rays.

First 5 years they gotta pass the PAT test once a year. After that they’ll give a LEO 5 extra vacation days if they do it every year. No 300lb WPS officers in their first 5 years….lol

A lot of things happen and change as you get older if you haven’t experienced what’s happening I doubt most would understand how things slowly are gone or taken away over time. Nothing you can do about it just one day what you could do is a struggle now I should of taken better care of my hands as today I’m paying the price for abusing them in the weather and setting traps especially conis by hand.
