A registered sex offender in Auora CO who tried to kidnap an elementary school child is about to be set free. The reason, he failed a mental health evaluation. The prosecutor said a law passed by the Democrat legislation and signed by the Democrat Governor last year says “a court shall not continue criminal proceedings against an incompetent defendant.” Sheesh! So just let a mental case back in the streets.
I was thinking about Curt Gowdy and "The American Sportsman" tv show. It had a positive influence one the way people viewed hunting back in the '60s and '70s. I was wondering if we would ever see a program like this on prime time tv again. It would be nice.
Wife's doin a little experiment with her herbs . Set up a little seed deal on top of the gravel in the tank put in some sage and lavender seeds she wants to grow in some random potting soil. According to Google supposedly it should take 18-28 days to get these to sprout.... Well it's been less than 12 so far and Just spays them down with tank water from a little spray bottle once a day.... Wonder what's causing the quicker sprouting ?....maybe it's the new shrimp we got lol
A friend from my farm hand days visited today. He brought a few firearms to “the range”. The shooting was enjoyable but some of his terminology was even more entertaining. lol

I tried a few years ago to see if anyone had any The Trapper mags from 1981 with coverage of the NTA Convention in Marshalltown Ia that they would part with? Had no luck but I wanted to try again? I had all my old Trappers and FFG's destroyed many years ago and I am trying to complete a Biographical book for my kids and grandkids before I'm to senile to do it and I was hoping to include some of the articles I wrote for The Trapper in the 1978 to 1985 era along with some Photo's of the Beaver Demo I did in Marshalltown. If anyone could help me locate some of these years I would be very greatful.
This heavy duty machine has skinned thousands of coons and coyotes. Has both clamps and Sterling style flop plate. Extends from 8 to 12 feet. Brand new wench. I cant figure out how to post pictures but will gladly text them to anyone interested. Asking $900 Can deliver to FTA in Iowa
Looking to find a replacement spring for the 114 and 4.5 Newhouse. Would like to pick one up at the FTA in Spencer if at all possible. I'm not terribly concerned about condition, so long as it still has some strength to it. Thank you for looking.
I'll be at the NTA tailgating on Thursday (setting up Wednesday afternoon).
These were brokered through Cohunt, Jim Selgeby, for me and are being priced at what I paid or less
He was well known for quality gear, and these are no exception.
Newhouse 1 Newhouse 2 1/2 Newhouse 3 1/2 Newhouse 4 1/2 wolf Newhouse 14 Newhouse 114 Newhouse 150 Newhouse 15 With setting clamp wired to jaws Newhouse 91 1/2 Newhouse MECH This is the most desirable Mech with the wide offset jaws, raised letter pan(itself a collectible trap) and nonground casting marks.
Looking for the 1989 & 1990 "The Trapper" magazine yearbooks ....If you have these laying around collecting dust, I'll be glad to put some green in your pocket....Thanks.
