A buddie of mine bought one ,man what a rig. Its very nice he bought it out of eastern Canada. He uses special sawdust in it. The fur comes out beautiful.

If using sawdust or corncob grit you can add some cleaning agent also. Some use a Pinesol, about 4-5 ounces to a large load. Its strips the grease off.

I made one from a 55 gal plastic drum. Ran axle through middle-bolted big belt pulley on one side and hooked it up to a motor. Takes a little tweaking but try to get it spinning under 60 rpm. I fill mine with sawdust 1/3 full. I tumble coons whole before they are skinned for 2minutes which is how long it takes to skinn one and then just keep rotating! Skin one, grab fluffy one from tumbler and shake or brush it out, start another tumbling while you skin the one you just took out!! Works real well for me! Tim B
