Hopefully some of you more knowledgeable people can help me. I know your not supposed to dig seng till the berries are on so you can replant them. But is there an actual season with dates and all the other hoopla that PA is famous for?

There is a season google search pa seng season and it will give u a full list of rules and picking season

It isn't just Pa that has all the hoopla. Any state in the Ginseng program has to jump through the hoops.
