Just trying to do my part.
Thinking about getting some MB550’s. What is your opinion on them for our area? Since you catch ten times more fox than I do.

Also, thinking about switching from superstakes with cable to super stakes with chain. But still adding some cable to the other eye so I can pull them easier.
I’ll take any opinion I can get on that idea!!

Im over in Md but i think the MB450 is alot better sized for fox in my opinion.Unless you have a concern of coyotes moving in.The most fox iv got in a season is 60 but 450s hold solid for me.And everybody has there own opinions in stakes, but iv always used HD Berkshires. They work well in our soft dirt.

Thanks GWC, 450’s are what I’m using now. I was just thinking of giving 550’s a try. We don’t really have that much of a chance of catching coyotes thankfully, but they are here.
Right now I’m using finned super stakes because they have an extra eye hole on them that I attach cable to so they are really easy to pull and don’t have to dig them out each time. I think it will be easier to organize them if I have chain to the end and only a short piece of cable attached for pulling. Instead of two pieces of cable for each anchor that can tangle up.
