Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes...... Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....

I'm testing some on my line, haven't used it enough to draw a conclusion yet.

I'm more of a coon and muskrat trapper but I have been playing around with coyote sets since 2007 and caught exactly 0 coyotes in all that time until this year when I caught my first, then second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth all on "the hammer" but the last one. Was it years of trial and error finally paying off or the hammer? Who knows, but it will probably be my go to lure from now on. The only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't a true liquid. It's like snot and it's hard to break the stream. I usually end up putting way more down the hole then what I was intending on putting. Clint put this on the market this year. That’s a long time to be in the testing phase. You caught 5 coyotes in 11 yrs on it?

Please forgive the intrusion, but for those who have used it with great success, how are you using it? Set types, application, etc.

I think he meant a he didn’t catch anything all those years until this year when he used the hammer. I think he used up all his bad luck the first couple years.lol
