Just took this pic. At 8 this morning it wasn't here. Sun came up. Started melting ice on roof, dripping in barrel. It froze my fern past couple hours

No, I haven't found any leaks but I bet I leave the faucets dripping tonight. Gonna be 26 in an hour or less.

Been sick as hec since Su day night, coughing up my lungs. Sure didn't feel like farting around in my attic this morning. Put the big prpane fish cooker burner near the manifold where the Pex is hooked up to by the water heater. Thawed that out pretty fast.

New PEX must be more whimpy then the old stuff. Had my first line split from freezing here. I got a PVC up under a sink false bottom split as well. My job security is piling up.

Obviously this is two different locations or two different times of year---frozen lakes and green grass don't really go together.

A very astute observation and couldn't have been worded better Sir.

We live in the south, not use to this deep freeze stuff. It may be funny to you northern trappers and i can find some humor at times but after getting blasted by a big dang hurricane in late summer the last thing we need is more water damage.

Ice sucks. I'll gladly take snow over an ice storm.
