Mice are also great under jugs for Catfish.

I've had fair luck using ghopers as they are plentiful around here and farmers are happy to get rid of them. I collect a small bounty from the farmer and the county as well as bait for the coming trapping season.

I chopped up and let some mice taint up one year for a week and then preserved them. I can take a lot of bad smells, but that odor is the most horrible thing I have ever smelled. It was a good bait coyote. At least as good as my other baits.

I have used mice. Works about as good as anything. Does anybody chop up a gallon or so of mice and add Dobbins Bait solution? I sure like that solution with chopped up woodchuck.

I guess It must be a trapper thing. Spend 100s of hours trapping and dealing with mice. When you can buy a jar full of bait and get to making sets. LOl
I know I know I've been down that road too.
