Those are the tracks I follow to my leaning pole sets in the snow...year after year.... Do you have a lot of coon where you trap?

They are denned up...but on the Mild days in Dec,during our season...I have caught a few in a leaning pole set. But a coons front paw print is NO where as large as a fisher...at least around here.

Then again I have never seen a fisher track, but i have seen a lot of coon tracks. The two tracks side by side slightly off set are a front foot and a back foot. I'll have to look at a video to see how they accomplish that. The length of the toes on both the front and back in the last picture is a give away.

They have been adjusting ours..But still only the Month of Dec..still only 31 days... to get 5...use to be able to harvest more.......

We used to be able to get 5 but it has been reduced the last few years to two but now it's a real short season which makes it more difficult.

We have a lot of fisher here and observe their tracks in all types of conditions. When I zoom in on a couple of the clearer prints you see individual straight toes that appear like coon. As said, fisher tracks observed on hard surfaces look like big mink tracks. I don't believe these are fisher. Agreed Osky

Not that I know of, and the guys that taught our trapping class said, no martin in these parts but a few fisher. I'm gonna tack some venison in some hardware cloth to a tree with a trail cam and see if I can get a pic or two. Not very confident on getting a picture as this is the first time in 15 years of being in these woods to have seen these tracks. If I get a picture I will post but like I said not very confident I will see again. Thanks to all.
