How Long Are The Indidividual Paw Prints, And How Many Inches Between Bounds ?
Shape Looks Right For Fisher But They Seem Rather Small, And Too Closely Spaced Between Bounds
For A Fisher's Typical Gait.

did not measure and prints are gone. I would guess 14 to 20 inches on strides. Prints 1.5 to 2.

Fisher is just a bigger Mink

Mink prints are more like the shape of a star.....I'll go with Female fisher

I've spent a lot of time in these woods as well as my father-in-law, and we've never seen a mink in these woods, that's what makes me think it's a fisher. A neighbor said that they thought they saw a fisher during deer season 2 years ago, but have not seen it since. These are the first time I've seen these prints. They looked to long and big for a mink, or at least the mink I've seen. All the mink I have come across are about the size of a gray squirrel.

I'm thinking Eric Space may have called It. All you guys living in states where there are no fisher...or can catch maybe one every 5 years through a lottery.....think every fisher track is a coon...you crack me up.....or that response is full of sarcasm...

Or How About Secret Squirrel !! They LOOK Like Fisher Tracks But Without Something For Scale, and With The Stride/Gait I See Looking a Bit Short For The Bounding/Traveling Fisher Tracks I normally See, I Can't Commit to a Definite Answer. I'll Say If It Is A Fisher, It Is A Small Female Like was Mentioned Earlier. w

All you guys living in states where there are no fisher...or can catch maybe one every 5 years through a lottery.....think every fisher track is a coon...you crack me up.....or that response is full of sarcasm... I live in a state where we have a lot of fisher and coon both. I am in the woods almost daily checking tracks. I see lot of coon and fisher tracks in the snow in various patterns and by looking at the toe lengths in the last picture I find it hard to believe that picture is not of coon tracks. The following pics are some I took of a fisher that came into my yard last winter. Don't worry, it is a fisher as I followed it for about 1/2 mile and even saw where it made a rabbit kill. I realize the snow conditions are different so these tracks are not as distinct as I would have liked them to be but I do know what fisher tracks look like in the snow. They have a lot more hair on the foot than a coon giving the tracks a softer impression in most cases

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

The Problem Or Issue Is That Coon Don't Bounce, Or Bound along Like Weasel, Mink, Fisher, Etc.
I'd Bet That Unless Coon Are Being Chased Or Chasing Something, Coon Don't Generally Bound....They Waddle.
Especially In the Winter.
I Will Allow That The Finger Impressions In The Last Photo are Somewhat Coon-Like, But Where Are The Hind Paw Prints and I am Also Bothered By The Distinct Lack Of Claw Marks I Usually See On Fisher Prints ?
I Really Can't See Them Close Up Enough To make The Call for Sure so IDK.
Just saying.
