From the bottom end of the board to the bottom of the crease actually measured 2.75 inches... I had a hard time getting an accurate measurement with the board in the trap jaws. Mike in A-town trapper M Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 10,404 Northeast Oklahoma	In this pic you can see(next to my thumb) that the crimp-on baseplate is trimmed down. Cut about 1/2" off and put the bolt in the holes. Then push the bolt up against the hump, firm but not too tightly. Crimp the baseplate on, remove the bolt, put the pan on and put the bolt back through the pan and baseplate. This should pretty much center the pan between the jaws. Put the dog on and bend the end of the cross forward/backward to raise/lower your pan. Mike One man with a gun may control 100 others who have none. Vladimir Lenin
