I want mix some glycerin with my chunk beaver/muskrat/deer meat bait to keep it from freezing. F&T list Glycerine Oil and Propylene Glycol as both doing about the same thing. Which one do I need ? Or is there another product that is available as a better choice ? What about food grade glycerin from the grocery store ? -Thanks

Glycerine is what you want, and yes, food grade from the grocery store will work fine.

Food grade works fine but will cost much more. Depends on how fast you need it or how much you need. I bought a bottle at Walmart to get me by once but I would normally order a gallon and pay same as a pint of food grade.

Wish I had more time to trap....

Does anyone else notice a decrease of odor when mixing bait with glycerin?
