So behind our barn I had set a live trap for some rabbits that were messing with our property. My plan was to catch and release, or if they were big enough keep them for meat. Those plans didn't work very well.... After a week of checking the trap, I went out to check the mouse traps in our barn for mice that have been getting into our chicken feed. I look where I had set the live trap and I saw something grey in the trap. I was so excited for a rabbit. It wasn't a rabbit, it was a big grey fluffy tom cat. I was surprised. He had somehow moved the trap and got it wrapped in copper wire. It was a mess, but after I opened the door to let him out, he ran right back into the barn. So I guess I don't have to do much mice trapping anymore... I thought this was funny, anybody else have stories about cats in traps? laugh
