You might consider a plate carrier if you carrying a long gun in the truck for things that may pop up and require you to protect yourself or others. You can get a plate carrier on in under a minute.

so it depends what day of the week it is , well maybe more what year it is , under Obama admin the ATF said the brace could go against your arm , some even had velcro to strap it to your arm you can hold the brace up to your cheek but not touch / pull it into your shoulder , then under the Trump admin the ATF said a brace can go up to your shoulder because it isn't a stock they don't care.


if your picking up on the ridiculousness of letting politicians write gun law when they don't know a brake from a buffer from a gas tube , your not the only one.


my dad runs his against his cheek an doesn't touch his shoulder at all but his neck is fused so goose necking it forward like you would for a typical cheek weld with a rifle doesn't really work for him.

then again I run mine as a 16 inch barrel pistol so I could put a stock on it and call it a rifle.
