The kids are pushing an agenda. Its called the ability to feel safe in school. ironic how the kids who walk out are the ones who push the other kids in school not to feel safe , though their regular harassment and bullying
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

We shouldn't have to worry about our kids being shot at school. Syrian kids shouldn't have to worry about being shot by a sniper walking thru rubble on the way to school. 100+ Nigerian school girls should not have to worry about being kidnapped en masse and used for God knows what. I am starting to worry about how much we as a society value our children. Its a hard pill to swallow but it keeps happening.

Sad. The silence of the primarily liberal media is probably because it wasn't a gun attack.

If there was ever a question about students being brainwashed at school , just look at today's national student march for gun reform .
The liberal anti - gun rhetoric is disturbing

As far as teachers pushing agendas, everyone is fine if its "their" agenda being pushed. Teacher advocating what you want and agree with are just fine, but have a different agenda and the indoctrination word is used. I don't want a teacher pushing any agenda. If they are an algebra teacher, I want them to teach algebra. History teacher history, and so on. It seems like that would be simple enough. When educators teach kids to want to relinquish their rights, those educators are not seeking the education of the individual, but are seeking power over the individual.

Question.....at what age does a person get to exercise the 1st Amendment? 3? 6? 13? 18? 21? Some of these kids protesting can't even dress themselves!
I think Anglinscreek is the former Addictedangler.

I've not seen a single person pushing for teachers to be mandated to carry, only that they be allowed to if they are already a CC holder, or wish to become one. I don't believe there should be any separate training versus that of any other CC holder, are though some are pushing for different requirements... why I don't know.
OK you want to open that door a crack fine by me, just be ready to step aside when the wind gusts blow the door right off the hinges.
Bryce I advocate for doing away with "CC Holder", asking permission in any form-paying any fatso idiot for mandatory training, as well as simply scratching the gun free zone sticker off the door. Some will carry, some won't. The chips fall where they may and we can all be a bit more free.

Law dog is correct....many of the demonstrations were for the 17 killed and purposely lasted 17 minutes. Let's not lump all things into an over exaggerated judgement. Some demonstrations consisted of both anti and pro gun rights holding hands. It's hard to simmer down in today's world. Let's be careful that the libtards don't get in our heads and picture us as valuing our guns over our kids. They lost a major election a year ago and are really playing all the cards.

I agree Unfortunately a couple teachers here felt the need to push their anti agendas.

Well, we don't hesitate to write our congressmen about trapping rights. Let's write to our legislatures and local school board about teaching practices. Let's get active.
