My last few turkey hunting trips were over in about 30 minutes. Then you have to eat the dumb buzzards. It's fun, but they aint no Butterball so kind of give up. 2 things: 1) carry a kid or two and let them experience those "easy" gobblers. 2) find a better cook. Wild turkey breast is delicious.
