Well I will be a Schrade customer for life. Somehow I managed to crack the metal handle of my Scaxe4 hatched so I contacted the manufacturer about it, and they no longer make that model but offered to ship me a replacement/upgrade to the Scaxe5 tactical hatchet free of charge. I paid $45 originally for my Scaxe4 and the one they are sending me is $109. They aren't charging me shipping or anything. They will have my business for life. Excellent customer service.

I used to like Schrade knives but had to may problems the last 5 years or so. I do hear a lot of good things about their customer service.
