Do you think this past weekend anti-gun protests will sway people to vote in the November elections for more anti-gun politicians? I personally don’t want a bunch of 15-16 year old kids that have no real life experiences that are manipulated by radical teachers and politicians to sway my way of thinking. Will pro-gunners stay at home or come out and vote for their candidate.

The protests were really not very big....it was exaggerated by 'media'....the woman's march in dc a year ago had more than double the numbers.

It really comes down to saying no to any gun ban. If enough folks say no what are they going to do?

Just Say No.

I hate to say this but the more attention that is given to the issue the more the likelihood is of some other demented individual to commit mayhem in order to make a name for himself. This, of course, will only worsten the issue. This is just my opinion and I can only hope there will be increased support for the 2nd amendment just as there no doubt will be against it.

People will be afraid to ask them tough questions for fear of being seen as non sympathetic to them and earn a negative label even if it's honest question.

Politicians will pander to the votes not the beliefs they have, many already have bought into the BS and they need to go this next round. The next election will be the deciding factor for the 2nd amendment even more then the last one. IMO

Unless they come up with a point of problem solution anything they do will be pointless just more regulations on the honest person.

The Australian gun ban was voted in and into effect in a short time frame....went from 0 to light speed in a few weeks.

Our problem is not just the young but the incoming immigrants not knowing anything about our history of our country.

Well they should know enough to know that they're fleeing a bad situation, and coming here for a better life. They should know enough to know they DON'T want it to be run like where they came from.

Couple weeks ago that same age bracket of kids were eating Tide pods, now they're wanting to battle the gun owners and the NRA. The media is sensationalizing this mess like they do everything else. They keep plastering the little shaved head bi sexual girl all over the place and trying to "take a stand".

Support the NRA people, support the NRA. Yea they send you junk mail but get over it and do your part.

But, so many of them are airheads. They want to change this country to be more like the country they just came from. Plus, many have come over here with no intention of assimilating.

They have certainly changed my mind. I decided I am no longer going to remain non political even if my business could suffer because of it. I have decided I will now engage more to try and teach a younger generation that having a gun doesnt make you a man or give you power but it is rather a tool a tool that can be used by good men to protect those who they love. These protest have made me realize how lost this younger generation of men is, they are allowing themselves to be led by a bi sexual butch girl that is shameful for any man but has to be completely emasculating for this young generation. We must engage with the young generation of men and teach them what it is to be a man because I see them living vicariously through video games and going mad with depression. I am also gonna re up my NRA membership they have changed my mind about that as well.

Unfortunately many people that know nothing or have no dog in the fight will jump on the bandwagon the way the MSM is laying out for them they are selling it anyway they can as the thing to get behind! How long do they think the 1st amendment will last after they screw with the second. IDIOTS

From what i had seen somewhere one of the brats had end up say that the back packs they need to use since that you can see what ever is in it is in vilation of there consitution rights. Sorry for the spelling. I find that funny since they want to do away with it. Also at that same school of the shooting there was some pull for have a knife on them and one girl pull one out when have it out with someone.

Here the news played up a clip from a young girl yelling out that all SEMI AUTO guns need to be banned. Kids or not this should be very alarming.

Having a lobbyist group hijack the pro-gun side of the debate has done more harm than good.

If you want to head off gun control, start NOW, not when the laws are passed. Get the email address you need for your area of your reps and senators put them in your email address book. Let them know how you feel.JMO

I found the protests very stimulating. Stimulated me to re-up my NRA membership for three years rather than my usual annual membership.

Went to get a physical today and the nurse practitioner asked if I thought there should be a mental test to purchase a gun. I said well if your mother died and you went to the doctor to get something for depression should you be able to purchase a gun? Told her nobody wants a psyco getting a gun the only problem is who decides if someone is mentally competent or not. Wished I would have mentioned drugs supplied by doctors that have unwanted side effects like depression. Wonder if she would have thought that person should be able to purchase a firearm.
