Maybe a mental test for folks who do not want a gun to protect themselves? Ain't that the truth. The Million Moron March has got folks talking though.

Gun Rights Rally: The second amendment isn’t just about guns. It’s about supporting the natural rights of self-defense, resistance to oppression and the civic duty to act in defense of our families and our communities. Self-defense is indeed at the core of the Second Amendment and an element in the Founders’ political thought generally. At the same time it is important to realize that the Founding Fathers’ view of self protection was not only more favorable but also more inclusive than the concept as disfavored by many modern thinkers. To the Founders and their intellectual progenitors, being prepared for self-defense was a moral imperative as well as a pragmatic necessity; moreover, its pragmatic value lay less in repelling usurpation than in deterring it before it occurred. Modern thinkers feel the need to strip away our natural born right to self-protection by limiting the available weapons that are at our disposal. They blame mental illness without documentation. They blame everything except the sole responsible party, the person involved in the action. With the support of thousands of American Patriots across this great country, we will assemble at every state capitol at 1pm CDT on Saturday April 14, 2018 to show our support for our 2nd Amendment rights and to support our Constitution as a whole. Please help support us to defend and educate about our founding documents and honor our Forefathers who sacrificed and dedicated so much for us to have the freedoms we do today! https://thenccpa.com/2018/03/18/americans-for-america-rally/

I hate to say this but the more attention that is given to the issue the more the likelihood is of some other demented individual to commit mayhem in order to make a name for himself. This, of course, will only worsten the issue. This is just my opinion and I can only hope there will be increased support for the 2nd amendment just as there no doubt will be against it. That's the plan.

It is MUCH harder to repeal a law once it has become law than to prevent it from becoming law! This is NOT JUST MY OPONION it is a fact!

They where protesting to loose there right to owne a firearm. Unreal to protest to loose a right. Only in America. We must keep up the good fight. For they walk among us. Just the mentality if they don't have one we don't need one!

Yup. I didnt think I needed another AR. They made me decide to buy another in case one day I can't. They also made me change my mind and decide I wasn't giving enough to the NRA.

Thank you Marty.
That young lady did a SUPER job of explanation.

I think so too. If they would never name these shooters, it might discourage some of these half-brained idiots. Or, if they would televise the consequences of their actions months and even years later. To be cut off from society and living in isolation forever, with no hope, should be a deterrent to any person with even a little sanity.

Now this is Arkansas not some liberal northeast or west coast state. I saw a sign in someones yard toady on the outskirts of town that said Ban Assault Rifles. You don't see signs like that much in this country, most here own a gun.
