Just wondering if anyone has tried the blue bucket set for mink? Where does Nittany get his buckets? In many of my creeks the water isn't deep enough to come up to the top of the bucket. Is it ok to use a smaller Bucket? Been a while since I'v used it, as we have more of a colorblind mink up here.

"we have more of a colorblind mink up here." "I have yet to know of a mink that could read."
Both good reasons to use "blind" sets nearby.
Hard to believe one man from Pa can put the trapping industry on it's ear by releasing one set type. What's next?
Few years ago a guy at the rondy showed up with a couple hundred blue buckets. They all sold in a couple days. I told him about the then just leaked secret set and he should charge more. He didn't believe me. Now he's a believer.
The dvd I saw did not look like the one PCR posted. Is there more than one produced? If not it might be lawyer time.

I think the blue buckets from Napa work the best. You just cant wear em out. Also they got em on sale this week.

I might just watch his dvd again just to make sure I didn't miss any key elements of the set. It's a killer mink set.

If anyone wants a dvd. I have a limited supply. Selling them for $2.99 plus $3 shipping and handling. Worth much more but today's offer only. PM me your address and I'll get it out. You can pay after you receive it. So $5.99 total. The set and story are Priceless as told by Nittany Lion the one who popularized this many years ago. He and Hern and Glenn Coon? Is this correct Nittany? Today PM's only and Tomorrow for anyone who doesn't want to order on Sunday. After that back to the original price.

This set is totally worthless without the recipe for Blue Bucket Bait! Has Jim decided to turn loose of that yet?
Not as bad as I could be, not as good as I should be.

Correct except for the spelling, the name is Glenn Koons, a/k/a OldCoon and OldMink. OldCoon, as he is known on this site deserves to get most of the credit. Since he was an experienced writer he got the job of writing the original post that appeared on this date in the year 2002. That post was a masterpiece. I still have a copy of the original and sometime when I have the energy to type it out I will do so and post it for the next generation to see. Heck I even have some of the replies, what say you Jtrapper and Beav?

A "Quart" sized blue container doesn't qualify as a bucket. And It's even worth less with Hals name on It.
