It is designed for use with 6-volt batteries, however with the available converter, it will operate operate off 12-volt batteries. For a day or two I use a battery like this- http://www.batteryplex.com/powersonic.cf...SABEgK0bfD_BwE. At home it is hooked up to a 1 amp trickle charger. Does it effectively treat the fishes’ sleep apnea? Keep us informed of how long the pump lasts. Very interesting test! FRAC LIVES MATTER

They typically last for many thousands of hours, we'll see.
