Another vote for the Minnow Mizer- https://hypark-specialty.myshopify.com/collections/types?q=Bait%20Aerator for short term fishing trips or short time storage of minnows. It is designed for use with 6-volt batteries, however with the available converter, it will operate operate off 12-volt batteries. For a day or two I use a battery like this- http://www.batteryplex.com/powersonic.cf...SABEgK0bfD_BwE. At home it is hooked up to a 1 amp trickle charger.

Note to self- Engage brain before opening mouth (or hitting the ENTER key/SUBMIT button).

My 800 gal hr bilge will pump 14. If you go over that it works harder and the flow goes down. Maybe you can find one just a little bit bigger.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Trouble with a filter is bullheads are so dirty. I think keeping them in a separate tank for a day or two to clean out will help greatly to not plug any filters once they are in the big tank. I'm thinking I'll make a filter with a bucket part way full of sand and gravel with holes to drain back into the tank and a lawn pond pump to pump water up into it.

Got it built, nothing too fancy...

That is a very interesting use for a bipap machine. Quite a bit more expensive than most bait tank pumps. Does it effectively treat the fishes’ sleep apnea?

Keep us informed of how long the pump lasts. Very interesting test!

This was just a old used machine cost me very little. They typically last for many thousands of hours, we'll see.
