But i do know the Mark AR series scopes are reasonably priced and i have been quite pleased with mine. I have fairly good confidence that if leupold puts their name on it, it will work properly. Love a model 70. I've got a 7mm in a Ruger #1 and so far that caliber has impressed me. Not as bad as I could be, not as good as I should be.

I have several Leupold on some stout guns and they do not waver. 870 12 gauge 3.5” Leupold shotgun scope, Armalite AR50 50 bmg Leupold Mark 4, 8mm Rem Mag. Leupold VXL, TC 45/70 Leupold Vx2, TC encore 50 cal muzzleloader Leupold VX2. I went down the Vortex path with a 458 Socom. Great customer service, but the problem was I had to use customer service for 3 Vortex failures so I replaced it with a Leupold Mark AR. Problem solved.
