I'm with you on the plain Jane trucks. Can't find them! Most of those fancy trucks they sell never leave the pavement. Most of the trucks sold today aren't designed to leave the pavement. They're luxury vehicles with open trunks!

The retro trucks look sharp. I think it would probably look a touch better on a regular cab with with either a short or long bed, just like what was common once upon a time.

I don't know if you call 20 years old retro or not but this is what I have driven now for over 20 years and this is what it looks like now. It has 180 thousand miles on it and has been my work and trapping truck and is driven in winters with our salty roads and still does not have any rust. No major issues yet other than a fuel pump a couple of years ago. You are welcome to come and inspect it if you doubt me. Ford or not, it has served me well for all of those years and I expect it to give me a few more. (4.6 liter) I like the retro look on almost anything including the Chevy pickups.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
