I have some trap tags from the 30s and up. Does anyone know a ballpark value for them and any years that would be considered "rare"

You might want to tell us a bit more about the tags you have. Lots and lots of different types.

I'll give you a start - being that you are from Wisconsin, I assume you are talking about Wisconsin Trap tags...............

Don't quit your day job just yet. If I remember right, the three that have the most value are the 1930 cross stamped, 1932, and 41-42 copper.

Wasn't planning on quitting my day job.... Fur prices aren't that good LOL I want to sell them all or trade as a lot

The prices seem to fluctuate so much that I was hoping a more experienced collector felt was a fair price so I don't sound like someone trying to rip people off, I just have no use for them and would like to give someone a deal

Not to hijack the thread, but I've been looking for help identifying the 1941-42 trap tags I have. There were 4 on a bucket of traps I bought on Craigslist. What's the best way to figure out if they're copper or brass?

I have a hard time getting a dollar a piece on those tags,the 27 maybe 5 dollars
