Hey "Coon Duke" I'm getting ready to bring some weasel heads for you. Do you want the bodies with glands? If I don't get them thawed and skinned is it a problem if they are fur on when you get them? Only have 7 as my buddie pitched his 5.

Yes I'd say.. A few sold. I only had a handful there and they didn't sell at FHA either.. I've learned to try and avoid my fox there now. They're good to my beaver and even coons but the fox go elsewhere if I have a choice.. I sent only 15 hand picked ones because I'm at my carry over maximum as is and they still graded one III and one regular II... Aka crapola.

I will likely have my best beaver avg in a few years and I wasn't real impressed with this batch.. A lot of bites from some beaver given to me by some fella's otter trapping in pa.

It says you are over your PM limit as well. I made some room.

Yeah, those weasels will work. The PTA needs some of the oddball stuff for their fur kits anyway. Thanks!

It appears that quality winter caught beaver have experienced an uptick in price. Not so much with fall and most spring caught beaver. Same old story, quality sells.

My average is up almost $2/pelt from a year ago. Very similar lot this year. Anyone have an idea as to why the RR are doing better than many of the regular furs?? I was always told they take a hit on price.

I had some leftover junk in this sale and had pretty good clearances. I averaged 1.43 on 8 coon and 3.00 on 3 red fox. Still have a few Coyotes that didn't sell.

I did very well at this sale. a beaver @52 and one @51 coyotes went 3 @ 125, 1 @ 105 and 2 @ 100 and a cat @ 230. Out of 14 coyote sold 12 for a average of $73 and only 1 cat sold out of 6. but all 16 beavers sold for a average of $20. That's all US dollars

Agree and also interesting about the $4100 top on bobcat someone is quoting on another thread. If that is the case then I am guessing an all time, all sales, all auctions best bobcat price. Important question though is what about averages on bobcat i.e. have those come up too? Regardless if confirmed the $4100 is a great day for a fortunate few.
